Anyone ever had a Vehicle Transported across Country?

Long story, but I'm looking at getting a T4R on the West Coast and have it transported to me. I plan on flying out there, checking it out, have it transported back, and then take a return flight home. I've got some companies in mind to use, but thought I'd ask if anyone here has ever had a vehicle transported across country and who they would recommend? Thanks in advance.

when i moved to NY form california I drove for the story. It was amazing. except for nebraska. Sorry anyone who lives in nebraska. Im now wanted in Wyoming. (lost my speeding ticket). generally a great trip


Now that im moving back to California, Im going to ship her home. less stress on me and my runner.


Mine goes out on monday.

Im using a company called angels auto. there supposidly ranked number 2 in the nation on consumer reveiws. there charging me 1100. but everyone told me its cheaper to ship east then to ship west.

I liked this company because its run by all girls, and frankly i think thats cool.

for the money your going to be paying on shipping why not buy one closer to you?

Well I thought about driving it (good time to see the country side), but it would cost me close to $600 in gas and 2,000 miles would be put on truck. So after looking at transporting it here, it would be 1100 dollars from door to door. Not too bad.

However, after careful consideration over the past few days, I've opted not to buy that particular one, and have since found one closer. Only 1000 miles away instead of 2k. (I know only 1000...ha ha.) It also worked out that I've got a good friend that lives around the half way point of the trip...so I'll fly to the dealership, pick it up, drive to my friends house, hang out for the weekend and catch up, and then drive back home. Works out all the way around.

Thanks for the info on transporting vehicles. I've learned a lot hearing stories from others who have done it.

I'll try to post some pics when I get back.

It's an '02 Sport Ed., 4x4, all original, Thunder Cloud Grey, w/ only 22k miles.

Save money on the return flight and transport fee's, and do a road trip. What better way to get acustomed to the truck then to drive it a few thousand miles? lol, good luck with it man.
