Anyone ever install a trailer brake controller?

I'm buying a used camper that has (old, but I'm told functional) electric brakes. The trailer has the 7-pin harness. My truck just has the flat-4 setup, which works fine for my utility trailer. The camper is probably 2500 lbs or so, so I'd like to have the option for brakes.

I assume someone like Hopkins makes a retrofit kit. Anyone ever install one? Tips & product suggestions welcome.

Thanks!

I made one by installing a regular plug in 4 wire system (which I use most of the time) . I then ran the brake system trigger wire to a 7 pole plug which also had a 4 pole plug wired to it so I just plug the 4 pole plug(the one tied into the wiring harness) into it for the wiring needed for the lights of the 7 pole plug.
