Anyone ever use leatherseats.com on their 3rd gen

My picture directly above your comment is after 3 1/2 years of steady use. A lot of the work I do requires me to sit in my truck for 12 hours a day, so it definitely gets a work out. I would recommend the Upholstry guys from Ebay, mentioned earlier in this post.

So what is the best one to get?

I checked them out this morning...looks like $160 for leather seat bottom shipped. $130 for vinyl that looks like leather. I think I may very well go for this to replace my driver's side bottom.

Anyone add seat heaters before putting the new covers on?? Seems like this would be super easy! since you could just lay the heaters on the old leather and not have to rip everything apart!!!

I dont think these are covers, these are leather replacements.

That is correct. The seat has to be disassembled in order to install these. As for the seat heaters, I have no clue.

If I had to do it again I would just buy local.

Here's why:

* At ~$150 for the bottom seat consisting of leather plus vinal (same as factory they claim) it really isn't an amazing deal

* Local shop here in SD with 5/5 reviewers (hundreds) on YELP only charges $240 including install for *complete* leather bottom piece on 3rd 4runner

* So yes the eBay guy is a small amount cheaper but they sell cheap leather, no 1 year warranty, no local shop to swap it out if it does go bad or wears early

Back from the dead, but to answer the OPs question, I just had my leather kit from leatherseats.com installed. They look and feel great. From initial order to tone revived took like 3 weeks. Very satisfied with the product. Company also sent out extra material so I could have the door panels done as well.

I'm also looking at leatherseats.com, what color brown is that (dark brown, coffee, Java?) Is that the standard leather, ecstasy leather or vinyl option?
