Anyone ever use these headlights?

Most likely just modded regular lights since no 4Runner in Japan had those and from what we've seen on here the quality is hit and miss and some report messed up light beams. I'd avoid them.

I just received a similar set of headlights in the exact same style. I'll post pics and let you know what I think when I've got them on.

those are just the same cheap TYC headlights but someone put a tint on the outside of the lens.

I believe TYC is the only distributor of aftermarket 3rd Gen headlights on the market right now.

The cost for a set of TYC headlights on EBAY is $75-$85 shipped. That doesn't include the corners.

I use these..mines are retrofitted with projectors though so beam patterns aren't a problem for me.

I just installed mine. They are the worst beam pattern ever! I am going to see if I can return them tomorrow to the site I bought them from. Unless there some info in the projector retorfit you're talking about. What did it cost you and how hard is it and how's the light?

The difference is HUGE, it will light up everything, cost is kind of expensive..around 270-300 for the parts, everyone says it's easy and I agree however I didn't do mine I had them done by someone else..although I'm sure with some patience you can do them.

Hmmm I guess I'll have to do some thinking... I love the look and would like to do hid but at the same time wasn't really in my immediate plan... But a great excuse and a great look lol. As far as these headlights go back to the original post. They are pretty but the light is truly and completely awful!

I just got DEPO's on amazon $80 shipped. You have to order them separately but the beam quality was much better than most I've seen. Probably not as good as the OEM's but where are you going to find NOS headlights???
