The vids I posted of Acton and Coke plant were just with AT tires.
I did order sliders and skid plates after the 2nd outing to the Coke plant as a few of the water crossings and deeper trails were just a bit much for a stock truck.
I also crushed the aluminium running board a bit on the driver side.
After shopping around Shrockworks seems to have a decent price.
What tipped me in their direction was the shipping cost for sliders and skid plates to Canada was about a third of any competitor I looked at.
So keep us in the loop as I took a look at Shrockworld shipping based on your post and it's done by UPS, so unless you are using your own broker, the duty, handling and taxes on this could be ridiculous. Let us know how you fare....
Their cost for shipping and handling was $149.72 to Oakville, Ontario.
I checked RCI, bud and another shop I forget the name of now and their shipping and handling was $400 to $450.
Taxes and brokerage fees in my experience are the same with DHL, UPS and a few of the other shops I had dealings with.
I will get hit with that for sure. I expect 13% added for tax and hopefully nothing more than a $50 brokerage fee.
I will report back once the parts are received.

Parts were supposed to be build a couple of weeks ago and shipped out start of last week.
Been trying to get updates from Shrockworks but no replies to my last two emails (sent 6 and 3 days ago).
Been like pulling teeth getting info from these guys. Hoping the parts are much better than their customer service.
I would have spent extra and gone with another shop had I known they would be like this.

Hey, I owned a 1990 Skyline GTR (R32) for 6 years and when I joined up here.
I just sold it at the end of this summer actually. It was a very sad day when she was finally picked up.

Finally have some info to report back to you guys with. I'll start from the beginning and run you all through to the end.
1) Order placed on August 26th.
2) Invoice received on August 27th
3) VISA billed on August 30 - $2,396.59CAD for Sliders and 5 piece skid plates - NO DEPOSIT TAKEN, BILLED IN FULL
4) Sept 5th I requested an update.
5) Sept 7 I got a reply saying end of the week for build and will be shipped
6) I touched base on the 13th. To see if on track. Nothing back.
7) Sept 16 I requested an update again. Nothing back.
8) Sept 19 I requested an update again.
9) Sept 20 reply indicates items built and I will get an email "WHEN" they are shipped
10) UPS freight notification received on September 27th.
Today I had a Customs broker take care of this for me. Details as follows:
GST................................................................ = $297.88
Custom Broker cut for duty processing (5% of duty) = $21.70 (this gets refunded once Shrockworks sends the NAFTA paperwork they neglected to send)
Duty (because no NAFTA slip from vendor supplied) = $129.70 (this gets refunded if Shrockworks sends the NAFTA.... ^)
Processing Fee (Their flat fee for doing this..........) = $49.99 (Can DIY this. Have to wait for shipment to arrive in GTA and get paperwork locally and file at tax office)
Total spent on Duty, Tax and Brokerage fee = $508.54
So to get Sliders and the 5 piece skid plates from Shrockworks to Canada will run you about:
$2900.
You might lose some hair too if it is your first time dealing with them as I had outlined above. Billing is prompt and for full amount. With no updates this leaves one wondering if anything will ever come from that money that just evaporated from your VISA.
Shop is not rude or anything like that. I'm going to assume they are very busy and might be short staffed at the moment. It is my first order with no updates from the vendor unless specifically requested.
Not trying to bash the shop, just outlining my experience. After re-thinking this experience over, if the product is as good as people's reviews claim it is I would say pull the trigger if you have been thinking about Shrockworks products. I may change my mind if they don't sent the NAFTA paperwork to my broker LOL

Good stuff, actually you can also act as your own broker but looks to me like you did well. If you had used UPS as your broker, you would also have been charged for the Vasoline.

I actually asked them if they did it (UPS) but they said no thankfully. I just assumed the $49.99 was a standard fee as the few customs brokers I hit up all had that same rate.

I did my driver side one in with I ran over a decent sized log. Didn't have a chainsaw with us and it was just too much to move.
Damage was not awful and I almost have to let non car people about it to be noticed. Truck is just new to me so it was bothering me.
That and I intend to do a lot of off-roading since my parents retired and moved up north.

Shrockworks came through with the NAFTA forms:
So the total price is down by: $154.83 (6.5% duty was refunded with this proof of US manufacture, FREE TRADE FTW)
So roughly $2745 for sliders and the skid plate kid delivered to a residence.
UPS said no extra charges for a drop off to my garage.
All I did was call UPS freight and setup an appointment for the drop off. They have windows in 2 hour blocks so I got Monday 8 am to 10 pm.
