I just sent a query to ask Toyota on why they are not available in USA.
Anyone has ANY luck finding the "Canadian Cargo Liner"?

Ordered Online
I was able to order these 3rd row / cargo mats yesterday online without any issue. With shipping to Florida the cost came out to about $170 US. They shipped FedEx and I should have them early next week.

After looking closely on how this works, I came to the same basic conclusion. It is not going to be good for my use. My offroad is primarily on the beach in sand and all the stuff going in the back generally has some sand on it no matter how carefully brushed off. Plus when fishin' in the rain, stuff going in the back is often wet. Thus sand/water is going to go down thru the gaps/holes in the liner.
So it looks like something like a Weathertech that is solid and with high sides will be best for me and I'll just have to deal with a roll up for 3rd row.
But since the 3rd row has never been up, and I have never used the tie downs in any 4Runner I have owned, roll up will be at best a seldom if ever problem.

Canadian part # PU550 89147 01 is apparently a cargo liner for a 5th gen 4runner with 3rd row seats. It attaches to the back of the 3rd row seats and floor area and allows either or both of the 3rd row seats to be raised without having to roll up the cargo liner that came with my 2016 4runner SR5 4WD with 3rd row seats. My dealer says they cannot get this cargo liner. Why is this much better and more practical liner not available in the USA???

I'm so very happy to introduce the Canadian Cargo Liner to my USA spec 4Runner! The fit is exactly like my wife's Highlander. Why they don't offer these to us Anericans is beyond me.
I'm sure many of you will be hitting up [MENTION=119811]T4RVAN[/MENTION] and I would imagine he can do the same for you. They aren't cheap, and neither is shipping. But they are worth every penny!
Also note that some of the raised edges are from being folded in shipping, and already laying flatter than in the pictures.
Off topic, but how did you mount that Fire Extinguisher on that door? Does the weight not make the door open off road? Love your rig. I'm hoping mine is like that some day.

I mounted with the bracket to the door. It sometimes pops off, but if I wedge the pressure clips that keep the door latched, it stays snug and firm.

I ordered the Canadian cargo liner from this site and it arrived in NC via FedEx in about a week. It was a little over $200 Canadian including shipping, which translated to around $150 USD at the current exchange rate. Great service, prompt shipping, and good email communication for shipped/out for delivery/delivered.

Coincidentally this is the dealer I purchased by 4R from last winter. Small world! Not really a beneficial post I know, but I found it kind of interesting that you guys had found this small dealership to sell you parts cross border. At least with the exchange rate the way it is currently, the cost is reasonable even with shipping added on.:canada:

The liner arrived Saturday, little earlier than tracking said. They came rolled up in a box. They are a high durometer rubber. Somewhere between rubber mats and plastic sheets. As a result of that and low temps, I had to let them warm up inside the house on flat surface for them to flatten out before install.
Install was simple. Look great. Work great. Very happy.

Yes, it's Toyota net. I also used 5 zip ties across complete width of bottom of net to attach it to the mats to prevent cargo items from sliding out from underneath the net and falling to ground when rear door is opened. The zip ties are threaded through small slots I cut in the mats and around net.

When I chose the liner accessory from the dealer, I figured it would meet my every need. It had the raised lip to prevent catastrophic spills. But when I activated the 3rd row, I realized I had to remove it from the vehicle completely.
Since I was stuck with the liner, I decided transform ability was a higher priority than having a 2 inch swimming pool capability. I did some cutting and pasting and made a homemade version of the famed Canadian liner we all covet.
