Anyone have 265 tires with a lift? I'm looking into getting 265s, possibly 275s tires in the near future. Will the truck look a little off if I get a 2 inch lift possibly down the road?

Why bother lifting and running stock size tires? Save your money on the lift, no need.

Boobs are cool for obvious reasons. Lifted trucks on stock tires look like someone that skips leg day lol. Nah they still look OK but why deal with the harder ride, alignment issues, all the things associated with lifts just to run a stock size tire?

I have a better ride and zero alignment issues with a mild lift. I didn't end up with a single negative aspect by lifting my car. I had my current 265's before the lift. I don't think they look too small. However, I'm hoping to change to a bigger size next summer.
Same situation for me. Tires were my first mod...had to wait a year for the lift. No regrets. Will look at 275s when its time to replace.

Because I wanted more ground clearance up front? But didn't want to give up the still fairly reasonable mpg a stock height tire allows? 3 1/2 years later and on my second set of 265's and I'm still happy with the decision. And I'm running wheel spacers without having to chop up a bunch of body, much less the front body mount. Next?
Or was I building my ride to meet your expectations? :naughty:

Just an example...BFG KO2 specs:
265 load c: section width 10.5", tread width 8.8", overall diameter 31.6"
285 load e: section width 11.5", tread width 9.2", overall diameter 32.7"
SO, in the grand scheme of things, you're talking maybe 1" increase. Are we all so insecure with size?? DO whatever makes you happy.
I'll be doing a 2" lift next week with 6112/5160 and 2" Icon rear coils. Will be going 265 BFG KO2 on FN Overlander wheels. I'll post pics once completed.

Hey now, someone asked a question, I asked a question, don't get all butt hurt. Like I said, they still look good, just not my cup of tea. I'm running a 295/70 on 3" with no BMC so yeah, just have to know how to make stuff fit.
