I just had rear brakes replaced at a local
indie shop recently.
Unfortunately a few days later the rear pax side was making
A noise. Turns out that the parking brake hardware
was not installed correctly. I remember the tech taking longer
than usual on that particular side.
To take off the rotor the tech had to hammer it on the sides
Just be careful. Working with that parking brake can turn into
a PITA.

OK I deserved to get flamed there a bit... With that said, it wasn't exactly front and center. Perhaps the forum moderators could make it a bit easier to find. Don't take this as a complaint and flame me again - return to sentence one...
