Anyone have experience buying from carsdirect.com?

Six years ago I bought my current 4runner from an online place called carorder.com and the experience was great - great price and no hassle. Now I'm thinking about getting a new 06, but carorder didn't survive the dot-com meltdown. Howver, carsdirect.com did survive and they still seem to have great prices. So has anyone here recently (or otherwise) bought a 4runner or other Toyota from carsdirect? And did you trade in a vehicle - how did that work out? And more specifically, if you bought in the Atlanta area, which dealer did they use for the final delivery?

I bought my 04 4Runner from CarsDirect.

They are ok, and will give you good enough price.

But here is what I learned.

1. Their prices are what any dealership will offer you after some bargaining.

2. They let you select the configuration you want but the person calling you will try to make you buy what is available on the lot.

You better off directly working with internet sales manager with email/phone calls using Cars Direct prices to negotiations.

Unfortunately for me the lazy managers started making offers only after I got my car.
