Anyone have Nitto Trail Grapplers

I have just installed a 3" toytec ultimate package on my truck and am looking for some new tires. If anyone is running 295/70/17 nitto tires please give me some info if you are experiencing any rubbing

I get a mild rub in reverse at full lock with the 285/70/17's. Im at stock height though, and its just on the fender liner.

didnt know nsor was able to work on rigs with kdss. how much did they charge?


in terms of tire size 285 would be my choice. have u tried asking nsor or other tire specialists for recommendations?

u planning to off road that rig alot?

40% off road i also have a gsx 600, i am really wanting to get the nitto trail grpplers but I m not sure if they will rub 295/70/17

you might need to do some trimming but it'd probably fit. not 100% sure, ask the guys at NSOR.

these are sick tires was wishing they made them in 265/70/17... or really 275/70/17. i think the toyo MT is pretty similar.

I have a 3" and 2" lift on my trail with these exact tires. I have molded the lumps back in the two mudflaps and moved the front inner fender splashguard up about 1/2". I only get minor rubbing on the back when reversing down a slight to steep incline. No rub when reversing on flat land.

I also have 1/2 - 1" more offset with my rims.

Do you have the terra grapplers or the trail grapplers? Cause the trails are a whole lot meatier then the terras.

Consider re-gearing also if you go with a LT295/70R17 Trail Grappler since it is heavier then most MT's and also it's a taller tire. You still can run the tire without re-gearing but you will lose a little power and gas mileage.
