Anyone have these headlight lenses?

My headlights are yellow and scratched and I have tried everything to clear them up but nothing seemed to do the trick. Scratch X, Headlight restore, Rubbing compund, etc. I know these arent OEM Toyota quality but they look rad with the black.

How are aftermarket lenses? Worth the money?

those look pretty nice, and the price is great, IMO. For what it is, if you're lenses are worn to "poop", this is an easy and cheap fix, and would make your truck look sick with the black grill. :tongue:

I don't have experience with the Depo headlights but I bought the Depo aftermarket LED tail lights off eBay and they were junk. Returned one set as they didn't fit (shoddy craftsmanship) only to have the second set also be junk and not fit (also returned). I don't know, if it were me I'd look for OEM headlights. Keep looking, they always show up on eBay. Or go to partznet.com and get some OEM headlights....my 2 cents

Honestly, without a buffer to polish out the headlight it may not do much, but using a buffer would probably do the trick.

if the lens is yellow, u have to do a complete wet sand on the heaadlight, 1000 to 2500 and then finish is off with a good buffer with plasticx or something, then seal it, otherwise find the cheapest stock looking that has a clear lens, bake both old and new lights and swap the lens.

The other people that bought them said there good quality plus there only 100 bucks. If they suck then whatever haha

I also had a set of those eBay ones you bought, they worked well with no problems. I switched them when I did the '06 retrofit but never had any trouble.

Trevloc has them now.

Do you know if these are OEM? The page says exact REPLACEMENT for oem, but are they? Just curious as to if you bought these or not. thanks

While we're here, though ... Javelin how have your headlights held up?

The clear coat started to peel on the left side. Looked like a sunburn.

Tried to locate another set of these lights but couldn't find them. I paid a local shop to sand and re-clear my lenses using a automotive grade clear coat. So far they are great! I'm sure they will last a lot longer now.

Try to use the turtle wax headlight restorer kit.... 10 dollars and worked great
