anyone have trac+ spacers?

I'm thinking about getting a pair for the rear to push them out 30 more mm.

anyone interested or done this before?

(these spacers aren't the cheapy slip ons. they use our existing bolt pattern and lock onto them by nuts, with another set of studs sticking out.)

it's a F-150 truck, but the spacer looks like that.

I doubt there will be any deals as we do not have an order large enough...

on the other hand... if we had 10 owners interested, that MIGHT sway the distributors at H&R springs.

Where you getting them from and how those spacers called? I did a search on H&R Springs spacers on Google; nothing comes out for a 4Runner. What are the spec for the spacers?

Won't you be changing the suspension geometry using these spacers? You'll be sticking out the rear wheels a little more than an inch. Would that cause more wear on the inside of rear tires? What are the cons of using spacers?

Only pros I can think of is visually it looks good and you can fit a wider tire/wheel.

That a major pros that you can mount larger tires. Geometry, hmm, yes a little, but if I'll do it, I might try to stay away from using them at the rear; its all depend how the wider tires will fit.

on their site, h/www.hrsprings.com/, they don't have any pictures of the ones we need, however i supplied a picture of how one of these "trac+" spacers look like.

It's a $150 investment, if it doesn't work, at the most I can uninstall it and let things be how they were in the beginning.

Do you think 30mm is too much? If original offset is 0 (don't remember and will probably need to take the wheel off and measured it, but it's -15 outside and I don't want to do it at this temp manually) and spacers are 0cm wider; stock tire is 265, we might use 285. This means +2cm in tires => +1cm in offset. D we need 3cm??? With these spacers theoretically we can fit 325 tires, but there is no way they will work with 4Runner suspension without deep modification, plus huge amount of trimming. I thought the best way is to go with 285/70R17, but for this application we need 1-1.5cm wider offset. Am I missing something?

I dont think 1.18'' will push them out too far. (if they stick out a tad, im sure it wont rub on the wheel well unlike lowered cars. )

My idea was to use them for wider tires, especially on front.
Looking forward to see how they perform. Keep us posted and as soon as you'll get them, make some pictures of the spacers itself and mounting process on the truck.

Yeah, I wanna know if this is the route I should go as well. I wanna do the burtman spacer lift and 285/70-17s. Does anyone know if these tires will fit the Sport stock 17 wheels? I haven't been able to get a straight answer yet.

Yes, the will fit, but with stock rims you will have rubbing and will need to cut part of the plastic fender and will have to do some metal work with suspension arm. If you will go with aftermarket wheels with 4.5 backspacing - only plastic trimming.

I'm getting 17x8 American Racing Baja + 275/70R17 GoodYear MT/R. This should be nice set.
Take a look at American Racing website. You'll need 17x8 4.5 backspacing and 6x5.5 bolt circle to fit 4Runner.

Yes, the will fit,

I too think they would fit although I cn't recall anyone doing it so far. I know that when I was considering 285's on the stock 17" 4th Gen. wheels, 3 dealers refused to fit that size.

You might want to check in your locale to see whether your tire dealers will fit them.
