Anyone in W. TN or Memphis area?

memphis, just picked up a 4th gen. Have a bunch of parts on the way. Goal is to run the Transam Trail if anyone wants to join.

Hey, I've been in memphis for a couple years now and bought a 4runner once i moved here. I actually bought my 2016 4runner Trail from Chuck Hutton. My experience there was very good, but their Trail/Off Road inventory is sometimes lacking... just visit their website, its usually up to date to at least check their inventory.
On the other hand, I just went to Principle Toyota to check out a used vehicle they had there and was nothing but impressed by everyone i came in contact with. They had a handful of Trails/Trail Premiums when i was there this past weekend. I worked with a younger lady there, Erica, and she was pretty good (although seemed pretty new) and would ask questions to her superiors if she didn't know... which is one thing that i do like, instead of someone shooting you some incorrect information.
All in all, I went with Chuck Hutton when i bought my 4runner a few years back mainly because they had the model, color, etc. i wanted at the time, and had a decent price also. On the other hand, a half a day at Principle Toyota went pretty well for me also.
Those are my two Memphis dealers i have worked with in some form or another... hopefully that will give you a starting point.

Thank you! Just out of curiosity what is a fair amount to ask when purchasing around here? Looking at a trd premium for about 41000

I know right off hand there is a Magnetic Gray Offroad Premium at Principle and a White Offroad Premium at Chuck Hutton both with black interior. Both of their MSRP's are right at $41,000 but you may could get them to $41,000 with tax, title, paperwork, etc.
I don't know your situation as far as paying cash, finance, trade in, etc. but they will work with you I am sure.
You will have to do a little work to get it for $41k out the door around here. If you were willing to go $42k out the door, that would get you walking out with the keys without too much problem I would think.
Just remember this is just my opinion and from the feeling i get at those two dealerships in my experiences with them.
