Anyone Know Offroad Spots in VA?

I am trying so hard to find somewhere in the Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina areas where I can go offroading. I live in Virginia Beach, the farthest East you can go in Virginia (NOT FACT).

A lot of the good spots here are getting fenced in or have gates. I have been only a few times to private property and have been surrounded by cops for it. Turned out I was 25 feet from Gov't property and wasn't caught on there

I will travel and am willing to go in groups. Thanks for your time!

Get on TTORA and look up Midcoma. He's in Norfolk, and has a '99 tacoma that he's build up. Tell him you're looking for a place to ride, or with groups, and I'm sure he'll hook ya up. Tell him his brother told you to look him up. He's on his ship right now, so he may not answer right away, but he'll get back to ya.

I'm down in camp Lejeune, and I'm sure that when I get my Runner fixed we can get together and hit up some places around here. There's one in Uhwarrie National Forrest in Troy, NC, that has some pretty nice trails, 16 miles of trails all together, and another in western NC called Flatlands, that has some pretty knarly trails. Jst let me know whe you want to ride and we'll hook something up.

Thanks! And I will definitely hit him up. And I will certainly go with you. I have 4runner friends but none are trail-ready or even want to take their rigs off the pavement. It would be cool to meet up with someone. I am ready to go any time any day. I have a Hatteras family trip planned on August 11th-18th but anytime before/after then.

The only problem I've found is that the authorities take high offense to driving on national forest. I think they think everyone is a stereotypical redneck mud bogger..

One of my favorite spots I have ever been is Corolla NC. Its is quite close to you being in VA beach but I think you would have to take a long drive around to get there. (105 mile trip by google maps)

Honestly is not that challenging driving on the beach, Except maybe the first 200' off the road. Minivans who take the road too far have to dig out. However, eating lunch on the beach as the wild horses walk by is an awsome day. All I would say you need is an air compressor. you can get air close by, but the lines can be long and you will have to pay for it.

Well as I am aware, most of NC has Passes to get on their beaches. I know Corolla and a few are still free. I am going to Avon in August and am also going to get a day pass to Hatteras. I am going to try and hit you guys up! Didnt know there was this much love in VA! Thanks all for your responses.

Oh and saw 2 lifted Runners the other day(1 was 3rd gen, 1 was 4th gen). 3rd gen was muddy and license plate was G3TMUDY and 4th gen didnt catch the license vanity plate. The other I saw in Great Bridge, Chesapeake area with the T4R.ORG stickers. Wondered if your on here.

I saw three nice 3rd gens in the Bedford area today one with an ARB front bumper, a silver limited with hood scoop, and a blue one. Every time I pass a runner I wonder if theyre on here..
