Anyone know square footage for reupholstery?

Trying to set out a budget for the leather and was wondering if anyone had an idea of the square footage necessary to redo the interior.

If possible I'm looking for a total four the four seats, headrests, door armrests and door inserts. I have to buy at least 1/2 hide at a time and wondering how close I can get to the nearest half.

I can't help you at all with the square footage, but I just wanted ask if when you get the work done, you could post up pics and discuss the cost and all that. I'm very interested to see/hear your experience going this route.

No problem at all. Just keep an eye on my build thread and I will post up every detail when the time comes.

if i can veer off a little....i've got a 97 limited and the seats are shot and I plan to have em reupholstered. what do think of first adding a quality cushion, either memory foam or gel foam? some of these cushions are crazy expensive but seems like it would be money well spent. anyone gone this route????

Not sure if this is answering your question, but generally upholstery shops will recushion the seats prior to the new material being stitched in. I would take it up with a local shop and speak about your options with them.
