Anyone messed with their fog lights 06+

Anyone know if the lens is sealed to the housing ?

I would like to see how the beam patter is without the light deflector.

What is the purpose of it on the 4R vs the light on the Tacoma which looks like it's the same but without the deflector .

Also can any brighter bulbs be put in there without over heating . Just was thinking of another halogen , nothing expensive , just more light output.

I've got HID's in my fogs, and they are very hot. Before that I had silverstar ultras. So yeah you can put brighter/hotter bulbs in there.

What about the light deflector , anyone remove that ? or is the light sealed to where you can't get at it ?

Fo , I just want a little brighter std. halogen.

Your HIDs run hotter than a halogen bulb? What HIDs are you running?

i always thought that all HID run warmer than halogens.
