Im lookin for some soundclips of modified exhaust systems.
Also if there is any information about a Borla, or Corsa Exhaust coming out

Good luck getting an email back...I'm convinced that whole email back thing from them is a hoax.

Just buy a correctly sized muffler and have it welded in. Catbacks are way overrated. I always use magnaflow mufflers. Installed cost should be less than $250.

I agree. Let's be honest, these cat backs are not going to give you a huge power gain. It will just make it sound better. And you might as well get just the muffler. That's what I did and I will continue to buy only the mufflers and have it put in, instead of a full cat back
 
I just got a Magnaflow 12586 installed yesterday. Sounds good, I'll record a sound clip within the next couple days and post it on here for those interested.

Did you kee resonators in place? This should be interesting. Look forward to the sound clips.
 
I don't think the 2010 4Runners have resonators in the exhaust system. I didn't see any when I was under mine, I know the 4th gens have the resonators by the tailpipe.
 
I didnt think they had a magnaflow for our gen. Last time i checked. I guess i've got tired of seeing if our vehicles have any accessories yet. It's been a slow process.

I don't think there is a magnaflow system for our gen yet either - They are talking about magnaflow's generic mufflers and just switching those out.

And yeah I'd love to hear a sound clip Driva!
 
I recorded a video from inside while getting on the freeway, but the window was open and you couldn't really hear the exhaust, I'll try and get a better one this week. I also had the rear hatch window down durring the recording and almost died from that rotten egg exhaust smell, LOL. I had no hands available to raise the rear window. Here is a pic though just to prove I did have a Magnaflow installed. :D

Please post some sound clips! I am so close to putting a Magnaflow on....it isn't even funny. LOL

On another note, does anyone know why Toyota installed the exhaust pipe so close to the cross member and flattened it? At a quick glance it looks like there was plenty of room run it out a little farther from the engine and up closer to the underbody.

You can see what I am talking about if you look towards the top of iDRiVaT4R's picture.
