I live in portland just south of the border (oregon)
I noramlly go wheelin' at Alpenrose's parking lot feild late at night.... but the security gaurds have been more active lately so I have been inactive for a wee bit

My runner will be down for maybe a couple more weeks untill I can afford to do the brakes, I need to do pads, shoes, rotors, drums all the way around... Put them off to long and I don't like the whole metal to metal thing... But yeah, we'll have to get a wheelin' trip together... I've only been to browns camp once, but want to go again, and would still like to hit sand lake before it gets too cold and crappy outside. I wheel silverstar, a bit of larch, but haven't done a whole lot of wheelin' in Washougal... I got a couple friends who live and wheel there though. Up past Yale is pretty fun! It's probably a few pages back in the Gallary, but the title "1st gen on honda" is my runner on top of a Honda past Yale....
I used to live in Vancouver, I moved to Yacolt a little over a year ago. From my house it takes me about 30 minutes to make it in the hills past Yale...

I live in the portland area normally but I am down in Corvallis for school. Ive been to browns a couple of times and love it. Where did you go 4wheeling in Alpenrose's parking lot feild? Isnt that just a gravel parking lot? I live right by there and used to play baseball there.

wow ok so i hope this thread isnt as dead as i looks, im in vancouver, go wheeling all the time, check out PISTONS WILD Motorsports Club - FORUM - Home or Home they are a4wd club here in vancouver. great group of guys(and girls) who love to go out wheeling. -its not limited to just 4runners or toyotas for that matter... but we all have a blast, and welcome more toyotas, after all we do need to represent
There are probably people still subscribed to this thread and watching it.
I no longer have a 2002 4runner Sport. I now have a 2004 4runner Limited, which isn't that great off-road and like the other 4th gens is designed to be more like a mini-van than a truck. I spend a lot more time in the Portland/Vancouver area these days though.

I'm in east Vancouver as well. I've only had the 4runner out to Browns once, but had a blast. Some freinds and I are thinking about heading up around Jan 7th if anyone is interested. I'd love to check out some other rigs. I'm just getting started on my build, and love new ideas.
