Anyone of thinking of installing a Harrop E Locker in the front ???

Just had the Harrop Front and 4.88 Nitro's installed yesterday over at Pro Gear in San Diego, gears are absolutely perfect, pulls hills in 5th gear now on this heavy Pig. Locker engagement is instant, will have more to report when I get some off-road time. Its one of those things I know I wont need that often, but good to have it when I do.

It's a chunk of money to do all at once, but gears are a must as the 3.73's they come with are outmatched by really any increase in tire size. They should of come with 4.10's from factory in my opinion. Anyhow, a chunk of money, but if your considering a front locker you need to do it while your in there doing gears..

I am curious to the costs and if you are still happy with the front locker?

Ive had mine for a couple of years now and still very happy with it ... Ive used it in a multitude of occasions. Only failed me once but it was mainly because of the AT tires and the clayish mud while going up hill after a recovery. I had to be winch up

Haven't logged in here in a while, I do like the locker, but I don't like the 4.88 Nitro gears that developed pits in the Pinion after 10K miles. Seems like an issue with the hardening of the metal.
