Anyone put 5th gen Trail Edition Wheels on a 4th gen?

Joking aside they should fit, but why would you want to? I think they're horribly ugly. The newer sr5 wheels might look pretty sweet though, especially powder coated or painted black.......

Ouch.. I installed TE wheels on my 05 and I love it btr than my 5spokes. Offset is way btr than the 5spoke plus u don't need to run spacers with the TE wheels.

Yes I did but bumped the fronts all they way up none since then , did remove flaps & some light trimming .

Yes I have tight fit but it does , not sure if you tow the receiver would be able to lock in but since I don't no problem . Will get a pic of it today

If their the same as mine they are ! Cpl of sets for sale n the classifieds take a peek . Pretty sure they are I think they started on FJs then 5th gen next , some one correct if wrong ?

I was going to come on here and say why would anyone want to put these ugly wheels on anything. But man they actually look good with those tires on your rig. Outside of this I still dont like these rims. I think the TRD FJ rims are so nice yet simple.

I bought some brand new 2013 4runner trail edition rims for $220 on craigslist.

They are at the powder coaters right now getting colored matt black. I will post pics when I get them installed next Monday along with BFG MT KM's.

I sometimes like these wheels and sometimes don't. But at $220 for the entire set I could not pass it up since I needed to upgrade to 17 inch wheels from my oem 16's.

Also I like these because they remind me of ol MTs with 8 holes & the faux beadlocks . All those other wheels look to flashy on some of 4r .
