Anyone put Europe maps on US Navigation?

I've been looking at 4runners and I'm trying to figure out if anyone has loaded Europe maps on their US spec 2014-2015 4Runner? If so, was it by DVD or USB?

The reason I asked was I ordered a 2015 TEP today but might be transferring to Germany as a DOD employee. I've searched Google but there is nothing on the 14 or 15. Earlier models could download a hacked DVD but lose voice navigation.
 
elaborate on the hack please, because I've been told this is not possible. Id kill for these euro maps

There is a DVDs of maps for earlier years available on eBay and other places that will download the EU maps but you lose voice directions.
 
You'll probably need to call a parts department at a dealership and see if it is possible for them to order you a SD Card with the software (not going to be cheap.) The head unit shouldn't entirely matter if I remember right, but that is probably the only way it is going to work.
 
You might try to talk to a local Toyota dealer over here in Germany. Also, there are multiple dealers that cater directly to servicemen and contractors at/near most of the major bases. You can get around with a $99 Garmin while you figure it out then sell it for $98 on the multitude of "online yard sales" over here.

There are a growing number of 5th gen 4Rs over here, keep in mind that parking spaces are all going to be rather tight, garages (if you have one) probably won't fit a full size SUV, and gas ain't cheap unless you are logistically supported and can shop on base. I'd love mine over here but there are tons of more suitable used cars everywhere over here. Just a thought. Enjoy Germany.
 
Other than the occasional strange look I get from people, Ive been all over Germany with mine, and no issues whatsoever. Its big enough, but it ain't that big.

Seems like there was something else I used that saying for........hmm...can't quite remember tho.

I've been talking with Toyota EU and they say the US Nav system won't upload the factory EU mini SD Card so I have been searching for a hacked version. I plan on using a cheap Garmin when I first get there but hoping I can get this figured out before then.

I am taking a Civillian GS job so I will be able to get a gas card, but the 4Runner will be for weekend trips with the dog. I plan on buying an Audi A3 wagon when I get there to use as a daily driver and for going out downtown etc. When I was stationed there before I had my F-250 and parking was definatley tough when I was downtown and the towing mirrors made it difficult to drive down narrow roads with passing cars.
 
Nice work on the GS job, I just got one as well and know how much of a pain that can be to crack that code. Where are you headed? I'll have a BMW 320 wagon and cheap Garmin we can work a deal out on when you get here, it's not your A3 but it's a damn tank.

I'll be working at the hospital in Landstuhl. I'm currently house shopping / searching rentals. I can't decide if I want to buy or not.
 
There are houses all over the place down there, easy to find a place to stay. You can rent through the base housing office and pay the market price for service members ($$) or you can get your own German real estate agent and reap considerable savings if you're willing to spend a bit more time crafting the lease and making sure it adheres to your requirements. You don't get the protection of going through base and that can be a huge problem if things go south with your landlord. I'd save the money and travel everywhere in Europe.
