Got a 2005 Sienna XLE with about 94,000 miles on it. Bought it about a year ago with 88,000 on it. Checked out fine with the mechanic. Yesterday, I was checking out fluids and whatnot and noticed the coolant reservoir was empty. Filled it up and realized there was some crusty coolant gunk on both sides of the radiator from some sort of leaks. So, I guess it's time to replace the radiator.
I looked around for a writeup on siennachat, but there's nothing there. Googled it and didn't find anything. I've replaced the radiator on an 02 4Runner, and know it's not that difficult. I just want to make sure I'm aware of what I need to remove from the minivan before I can get the radiator itself out. Wondering if there are any hidden bolts/screws I should look out for.
Just ordered the repair manual, and it should be in shortly, which I'm sure will help, but I'd love to pick someone's brain who's done this before. If you've had experience working on one of these, I'd appreciate it if you could drop me a line so I can ask you a couple of things.
