Anyone run Michelin LTX in LT/Load E sizes for 3rd gen? How comfortable are they?

Hi Folks,

Anyone run a Michelin LTX (any version of it) in load range E for a 3rd gen or 4th gen?
I’m finding many sets of the LT / load range E locally, and wondering how they will ride as a daily driver (1999 v6 elocker).

Mostly looking at the selection in 245/75. Mostly city/highway driving, minimal off-road beyond dirt roads. Definitely do not need load E for puncture resistance, but if they ride damn good, then I’m at ease.

I have the Defender LTX M/S in Standard Load, 265/70/16 on my 2000. I'm really happy with the ride, they are WAY quieter and soak up bumps better than the Duratracs I had before. I'm not sure about Load Range E though. I feel like the ride would be rock hard on a vehicle as light as a 3rd gen?

I noticed that you did not receive many responses.
I will give you my feedback from having them on my 2006 XTerra. They track perfectly and ride quietly. Rain performance is excellent. They always did well in the snow too. They were still on the XTerra when I traded it in and they had about 30k on them. They were one size taller than factory and were E load.
