Anyone running 275/65/18 Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tires on a Limited?

I'm in need of new tires and like many others stuck with those odd-ball 18" rims, have been pulling my hair out trying to come up with some alternatives to the Soccer-mom OEM tires.

My truck has the cornfed 3"/2" lift and I don't mind shaving a bit here or there to get free range of motion without rubbing.

Can I run the 275-65-18 Goodyears without hub spacers?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

With the advanced search look for a user named ProMed. I think he had that size but they were Cooper's. His truck was 4ROTM too so you can look there.

ProMed runs 1.25" spacers. I dont think they are necessary though. Others have run 275/70/17 on se wheels with no problems. OEM 18" wheels have 25mm offset which gives a little extra clearance for the control arms. Here is his truck thread


You may also want to consider 265/70/18 silent armor's

So what have you all done to fit these?? What are "LR" UCA's??

Light Racing upper control arms. I think they offer more adjustment than the stocks but past that i have no idea.

Which 18's have that extra backspacing? I have the Eneiki 18" ones that come from the factory. My stock tires are 275/55 R 18 if that helps any.

Yea, here is a good tire profile shot. 295/65/18 with spidertraxx spacers and LR UCA

As for gas mileage, I'm probably the wrong person to ask... V8 supercharged, 33" tires, 3.5+ lift,etc. equals TERRIBLE gas mileage... I'm thinking with a full tank I get 250 per tank (mixed driving)

Let's reignite this old thread because I'm struggling with tires now too. If I keep my LTD 18's, I am stuck at which tire size I want. I'll have no body lift and no BMC. I do have ICON coil overs and TC UCA's. If I keep these wheels, what are my realistic limits without BMC and aftermarket bumper? Looking for experienced solutions with photos.

So does fuel off road
You can type in metric or standard sizes and it will convert
Also every tire manufacturer height is different do to the amount of tread the certain tire has or the molds they use. Although ATD will tell you the exact dimensions of any specific tire.

So you can always try that if you know the height you need ish
For example 285/70R18 is basically a 34 closer to a 35
And a 33 is actually closer to a 34 after tread height
What I would do is call ATD and pick a sales guys brain
Tell them what your trying to do and go from there.
