anyone running a Gibson swept side exhaust?

My rig has 210k on the stock muffler. It's raspy as shit kinda embarrassing. Lol. I'm looking to upgrade any suggestions? Anybody running the Gibson exhaust? I'm looking to pick this up.

I've had a few aluminized Gibson exhausts over the years. If you plan on keeping your 4Runner for any length of time, I'd suggest a Stainless Steel muffler and tubing.

I have a high flow aluminized exhaust for my talon that's 15 years old. Still works great. No corrosion. SS is better but it still can last.

I had a Stainless system on my S-10 years ago - I was very happy with it. back in the day they would install a system for $5 if you went to their facility and purchased it there. I didnt know they made a system for the Runner.....may have to look into that. I would love to hear a sound clip if anyone gets one of these.

You know... plenty of muffler shops will put on a muffler and new piping of your choice for less than $300...

Then again you have some yoyo under your truck with a welder. I like to do my own work. Alignment, tire install only time I go to a shop.

Same here but not really a fan of the bolt on exhausts since cat theft is a problem around here. Tis why my 4Runner is garaged.

Alas, if I had a welder and any skill at it I would have had a new exhaust on my truck over 6 months ago, hence why I'm researching shops to do it again. I might just take it to the place I had my Pickup done, they did awesome. If you know the shop or can see some jobs they've done before it eliminates some of the unknowns.

Yes very true, again I would buy a bolt on and have it welded if that was the case. I just got a welder and been practicing, not good enough to trust work on my truck quite yet. LOL.
