Anyone running Kumho Road Venture tires?

The specs & few reviews are great and the price is 3/4 of what the Michelin LTX M/S tires I was leaning towards are. Looking for any experiences with them. Thanks...

it would help if u mentioned which road venture tires ur asking about, MT,AT, #'s,etc. KUMHO TIRES Review... The Road Venture AT/MT Off-Road Series i had one of the MTs a few years back & really liked them, fairly soft compound so the street ride was decent, id buy the brand again, the kumho prices seem to be lower than some others.

Specifically the Kumho Tire Road Venture SAT KL61.

I have them on right now.. decent tires.. not much experience on rain or snow yet.. mostly dry and the grip is good, a little on the soft side but doesnt bother me.. what i liked about this tire mostly is the treadwear of 600..

Do you mean soft as in "tread" or "sidewall support"?

Look at the Yokohama Geolandar AT-S. I narrowed my tires down to those or the Kumho ATs. Yokos are sweet and cheaper to boot!

Are they sayin.. they are quiet when compared to other AT tires ?
Or
They are simply quiet, and is comparable to Street/All season tires.

Can someone clear this up? Thanks

The only reason, I buy street/all-season tire is, I want to be comfortable. I like a smoother quieter ride. But I do hate the gay tread LOL!. So why not buy an AT tire w/ aggressive looking tread, comparably quiet to a street tire, same cost plus the "mountain and snowflakes symbol" makes you feel safer - being severe weather tested.
