Anyone running these rear coils with Bilstein 5100's? (OME 2895E)

I Currently have Billy's all around and stock coils with the fronts set to 1.75. Although pics don't show it, I do indeed have some very slight and negligible reverse rake (as it has been mentioned dozens of times). I often have my 1up hitch rack and bikes on the back of the truck AND my truck has the 3rd row option... So I'm thinking that these coils might be the perfect thing to prevent any further rear sag under load, while also giving me a lift that the 5100's can handle without any issue. Curious if anyone has tried this setup. This seems like a good coil choice considering my rear weight setup & no aftermarket rear bumper in the foreseeable future.


And IF I have too much height in the rear after these coils, I could always up my front Billy's to the 2.5 setting. Seems like a win-win and quite an affordable setup WITHOUT spacers... Which I'm not going to consider.

I have this set up, no complaints whatsoever doesn't sag n I had a few hundred lbs of sand bags in the back with ppl. Only downside I would say is it's not strong enough for a full bumper

I will have a brand new set of OME 895E for sale. I'm just waiting for shipment from low range off road since I got them off a group buy but they're lagging on shipping.

I went with a different rear coil setup. I wasn't looking for a 3 inch or more rear lift and figured the 895E was good for what I needed.

I have 895E's, although with OME shocks, and have zero complaints. They raised the rear end on mine just over 1.5 inches from stock height.

But if you set the 5100's to 2.5" you will most likely need control arms, or your tires will wear unevenly.

I have the 2895E with my 5100's. I'd recommend adding a OME 10mm trim packer on the driver side as well. The drive side lean is noticeable.

I have no complaints. It's stiffer than stock for sure but I like it. BTW, I have 2.5" OME coils in the front plus 1/4" spacers so I am close to 2.75" with stock UCA's. No uneven tire wear I've noticed from doing tire rotations every 5k. Had my front 5100s cranked at 2.5" for 16k miles before I added the OME coils and top plate spacers. Only added the 1/4" spacers to the front because there was still a little rake in the front with just 2.5" coils.

Can you link me to the single, drivers side small spacer you're referring to? To prevent the lean?

Did you put the 895's in? Does it ride good? I was thinking of using the same coils with a bilstein 6112 and 5160 setup.

Hi, I'm a chick who knows little on this topic but I have a 2003 v8 4runner, at shop now with the billy 5100's and I just ordered the OME 2895s and 2885s cuz I was told the springs needed replacing. I don't understand how you make the truck the level. Will I automatically have 2" lift with these springs? Do they have to "set" the shocks a certain way? Do I need spacers? help, I dont trust repair shops when I dont know what I'm talking about. thanks in advance. Becky

youre in the wrong forum. you should be asking in the 4th gen forum, as the lift on the 5th gen with the same springs will not provide the same height increase.
