Anyone swap longer studs onto front of 4Runner?

I'm in need of longer studs, the best I could find with same measurements to the 4Runner ones is made by ARP and is for the Lexus IS300. These are around 66mm while the stock ones for our trucks are 40mm, seems like I little too long for what I need, but they'll work. Has anyone done this? Or can anyone link me to some that are maybe around 50mm in length?

The stud is about 5/16" longer and is made by Raybestos...Now may I ask why you need the longer ones up front?

I'm not exactly sure why the OP needs longer studs, but i'm willing to bet it's because of aftermarket wheels. I have procomp rims and the front threads barely engage "enough" of the stud compared to the OEM rims. I'll be swapping mine out in another few months when it starts to warm up more, just for peace of mind. Here's some other options if you want to check into them as well.

Might need longer studs due to running spacers. I've been putting this off, as well, but need to do it at some point. Everytime I pull one of the front wheels off, I'm reminded.

Yeah, I'm running bolt-on spacers which I'm not really a fan of. The pro comp wheels I have only leave 2 and a half turns of the lug nut up front. Thanks for the information guys, I might go with those Toyota Matrix ones or check those Raybestos brand.

I encountered a similar issue when i needed to run these 1/4" spacers with my wheels to clear the uca on 315's. i put tacoma rear studs up front because they are 1/4" longer but i was still not happy with the contact

So I found these ET style spline drive lug nuts that match my current ones. I just picked up enough for the front. I now get plenty of threads and the wheels line up right away . These are Made for aftermarket alloy wheels. I found them from wheelers offroad for $1.50 each

They should be fine. I went from 2.5/3 full turns to 7 or 8 full turns with the ET lug nuts.

Awesome, I'll probably just go with those then. Now just to check if my wheels work with my 199mm Tundra brake upgrade without the bolt-on spacer.

J-money, do you have the actual brand for those lug nuts? I looked on wheelersoffroad and I didn't see them, I could only find the factory ones and the black/chrome ones they sell.

I know this is an old thread but I did not see where the OP commented on what they did. I for one searched and saw this thread I installed the longer ones in the front what a B. they are .05 inch bigger and that makes it mush harder it install.!:happens:
