That'd be nice if we could save money at least on shipping. Do you know how much it would cost to ship 2 racks in our area? I'm interested, when are you planning on ordering yours? Are you going for the full length rack?
Or if anyone else in the area is interested, maybe we can get a group order rate and more savings!

You going to sell that sport hood? Haha, it sat in my garage for months before I decided to sell. I really wish I had a need for a roof rack as the Whitson ones are awesome. Good luck, I know crazydubman was thinking of getting one.

Hey guys, figured i'd chime in with some shipping numbers. To northern California the quotes came back as such: 1 rack ~70lb. $180, 2 racks ~140lb. $205, 3 racks ~210lb. $305.
2 racks falls into a sweet spot of some sort for shipping cross-country, happy to help out if you have any other questions.

@ SCRunner: Nope, the hood is sitting on saw horses in my garage waiting to be painted. My 14 year old desert dune paint is so faded coming even somewhat close is going to be tough. Thought about painting the hood and roof (cause the paint is so thin the base coat is showing) black.
@98SC488 planning on ordering a full-length. Could order it soon, which is probably better since I believe Whitson would like to take a break from building these for a moment. You in Brentwood?

Haha, yeah I thought about just painting it black as well. If I kept it I would have done that by now since paint is so expensive. I like the black idea though and think it would look good. Try it out with some plasti-dip first.

Full length is what I'm planning to get too. Yes I am in Brentwood. And yeah, we better place an order soon before Whitson goes on a long vacation. We probably need to PM/email him on how to set up payment and delivery. If you want I can just pick mine up from your place. I've been there before, if you remember we had our bay area meet and greet a while back.
