Anyone tried those $300 Summit rock sliders?

I just ordered some 4X Innovation sliders. They are too inexpensive to not give a chance. I got the dom, kick out, and an extra set of arms. Was around $360 I believe.

In videos that I saw, the sliders seemed to be strong enough but the frame would bend in on hard drops. So I got an extra set of arms with the idea that it will help spread the force out. From 3 areas to 4. I was also thinking about swapping the little squares for one big ass long plate to spread the force out all over.
 
I am looking for the rock slider with no luck. I want Bolt On ones - Everyone advertise the welded ones - I do not to do frame damage in my 2002 4Runner .
Any clues?

There will still be frame mods to bolt on sliders to a 3rd gen - there aren't enough threaded bolt holes (or even just open holes) to bolt any sliders on without drilling more holes. Shrockworks makes bolt-on sliders, but they still require drilling (I welded mine on anyway).

you could take the weld on ones and weld them up off the car, buy extra plate steel and long bolts, drill holes through both plates and the frame, then sandwich the frame with the plates and bolt everything up.

I do not suggest doing that though. Just weld them on or pay someone to do it.

I ended up grabbing the 4xi sliders with DOM tubing and square tube on sale.
 
I do not see an extra leg option on the website, did you email them and how much? With DOM I kinda doubt an extra is necessary for 60”, on a longer Taco it makes sense.

The sliders themselves are strong as hell, however hard drops show the arms push into the frame. My thought was to spread the force over more areas / larger total area to minimize frame stress.

I called them, was $15 for a set which was a total no brainier. To me at least. If it doesn't work out, well it's only 15 bucks.
 
RSG metalworks has a black friday special going on Code : BlackFriday, so you can get angled full plated sliders to your door for 400. No way would I buy Summitracing sliders for 300 when you can get something actually made for your vehicle for 100 more.

The ones Summit is selling are from All-Pro Offroad, so at least they're from a reputable company, instead of just random unknown origin chines-ium stuff. I don't know anything else about them tho...

Interesting, but they have no specs on the site. Are these Dom?

Yeah I like that they are welded together.. I'm a bit nervous about having mine welded... I hope they are straight haha
 
So, after looking more I ended up ordering the RSG sliders just due to them being already welded together.

Hopefully 4xI can cancel my order... haha. I feel bad, but the pre-welded leg's seems so much better.
 
Just ordered the 4x DOM,did not bother with a 4th leg. Also would like to set the angle myself so not having the leg welded is better for me.

Could not pass up $348 delivered to my door.

I'm sure you'll be very happy. I ordered 4x skids and I'm very pleased with the build quality, quick shipping and presentation.

I just need plated sliders (concerned about my dogs foot getting stuck) and RSG sliders seem like the best deal out there.
