Anyone up for a 3rd Gen meet / trail run? (2012 SoCal edition)

Join the TDS group for this run was great times.

Here is video of the event. The first video is some Jeeps and a stock 4th Gen. The second video is all 4Runner!

Looks like you guys had fun. I'm going to have to make it out there sometime. Thanks for putting the videos together and posting them.
 
I REALLY want to go to Big Bear, but have never been. What trails do you run? I'd like to check them out for sure.

Brian, I hope you guys got to go UP Diablo Dropoff, that is like the most fun part of the trail ;) Also, there are those 3-4 hill climbs right below DD that are sorta fun as well.
 
Some of us are heading up to Azusa Canyon on Sunday May 6th for a little fun. It's mostly water right now, so you don't HAVE to go in the mud if you don't want to. Azusa is a cool place to just sit back and watch other people beat up their equipment.

Ive only been once and I wasnt driving. Really fun mellow trail too. My buddy who's been up there a few times is the one leading the way.
 
If you guys want to do a big bear trip / run, would anyone be interested in meeting for camping the night before? Big Bear lake is a bit of a drive and most runs seem to start 8-9am.
 
I have 2WD as well.. But before goin out on the trails should I get my hands on a CB? Other than that I'm down do go anywhere that's not too long of a haul (from 91302) So Thousand Oaks Calabasas area.. :D
 
Count me in for big bear! We just need to have a date in advance so I can get work off, they love giving me weekend shifts :redbrick:

Suggest you star a new trip thread and link to it here. Include details: meetup times, location, trails, leaders info ect.

I hope this thread can be used to spread the word about trips but people will need to step up and post the event.

If anyone knows of an event already posted, even on another forum then pls post a link here. Let us know!
