Well I would only do that if paired with an OME 861 or the coils I linked of course

It's my understanding that OME 861s are similar length to 8 wraps when decompressed, which would mean the same travel without losing a spring. Tbuzz compared 861s to superflex coils and they were the same length. I think my 8 wraps were the same length as my superflex when I swapped them.

I just realized that I left the dimensions of those metal tech/icon shocks out of my post. They're big.

17" compressed, 28.5" extended. Big. Really big.

sounds about right... mine are 10" travel
