I saw an ad for a Gforce performance chip that improves gas mileage, horsepower etc, for $69. Anybody using a performance chip? does it do what its supposed to do? just wondering if its worth the $

Don't believe that all chips are lies. They do amazing things on tubo'd vehicles. Just not 4 runners

This is true actually, but you need to know the correct placement of the stickers to maximize drag reduction.

I got 10hp from my Lil Skips Offroad sticker!
only 3 from my T4R sticker though...

make sure you dyno before and after to get the correct HP gain.


oh, and forget the computer chips, go for fuel injected lug nuts, I hear they help HP and MPG

No, chips do little to nothing. We would all love to spend $300 and gain 30 hp but it's not going to happen.

Throttle body spacers also do nothing.

You will get your most gain from doing the "deck plate mod"

or even better, K&N CAI even Glen said "I think you have 70 more hp than me" and we have the same amount of armor etc. and I have a 96 and he has an 01..
