The only time I've used Alldata is when I've used it to get info on fixing a car in a body shop. It has tons of info, but not as comprehensive as the FSM from a diagnostic standpoint, in my opinion. Not sure if Alldatadiy is the same as the full version Alldata that body shops use either.

We used to use Alldata for labor while I was working In a shop. AllData isn't nearly as good as FSM and sometimes it leaves important things out. I would suggest a factory repair manual the way to go.
If you had a shop or had multiple cars, all data would make sense as it has all makes and models

Had access to both Alldata and Mitchell and used both - sometimes one had info that the other did not and Mitchell was better for electrical diagrams. Both had some gaps and also some errors. However, I like these systems - the index, hot links & search/location function really helps find what you need and you get up to date info on TSB's (not a big deal for an old vehicle like our Third Gen's - no new TSB's coming out). At this point, I use Alldata at the local library if needed. Not sure what difference there is between Alldata & Alldata DIY other than access to a limited number of vehicles. I think (?) they have the same content.
