Looks like it would bounce around a lot on the trail and slip out from between the seat and center console. I went with a hard mounted set up that bolts down on one of the seat bolts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F3F09NU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's cheaper and very adjustable. I just tuck it down and out of the way when not using it.

Basically the same one I'm running but I picked it up off eBay. Works well enough and holds the tablet in place. I'm usually only looking at my maps at intersections and stops anyway.
Shouldn't slip due to the ability to pump up the unit for a tighter fit. It's an interesting concept though.
I was studying the unit you linked and can't help but think of the swaying that your tablet would be experiencing. Maybe that's not happening in your case but given that it's only bolted at the very bottom, the entire thing will simply move with the vehicle. I have a 10" tablet and it's going to be rather heavy at the end of a long, unsupported arm.

I have no experience with the unit you’re asking about, but click the Off-road Nav Setup link in my sig if you’d like another mounting option. The Arkon works very well for me.

Ah didn't know it pumped up to stay in there.
It hardly moves. It's a pretty thick pipe that barely bounces when wheeling. But I'm also rarely looking at it while moving. I use it with an ipad mini ~8" and a beefy case.
