All aftermarket headlamps are going to be crap compared to factory.
I know, but there are varying degrees of crappiness...
I'm in the same boat.
Factory headlights (and DRLs) are starting to look pretty crappy. Do I try to recondition them or just ditch and replace? I know the cloudiness can be wetsanded/polished out but the material itself is still yellow-ish.
OEM headlamp assemblies are expensive: ~$195/ea for 2003-2005 versions. Ebay/Amazon offerings are a lot less and thus tempting...

Meh... my DEPO ones aren't bad. Besides... additional lighting mounted elsewhere and visibility is improved over stock anyways.
Edit: Also aftermarket headlights= new lens which looks much better than my old 100k weathered factory lens.

That's funny, I was about to order those today.
Sweet, let me know if they actually bolt right in and how the quality seems.

Im talking mainly about the "EBAY projectors" the light output is usually trash.
aftermarket replacements (oem style) are not as bad. still def lower quality lamps
I personally would get mine reconditioned when its time

I just did the McGuire's headlamp assembly reconditioning and it worked OK - not awesome, but good enough for now.
I just want a new look is all.

If you do pick them up, definitely let us know what you think of them. My headlights are beyond help, and even an eBay set might be an improvement.

I have those and they are crap. They look better than the yellow OEM housings but up close they don't look as good. The projectors don't focus the light real well and have this rainbow thing going on at the cutoff. Also from scattering light all over, the black paint around the projectors are cracked.
No water leaks yet but I did seal them with clear RTV before I installed them. If I had to do it again, I would choose something else.
