Anyone want to sell some interior A pillar trim?

Took my truck to get a new windshield at a local shop yesterday and they screwed up. They had some installer in there that looked about 15 and did the biggest slop job I've ever seen. Sealant bulging out all over on the inside, chrome trim all screwed up and wavy and the best of all, the idiot gouged the crap out of the trim pieces on both sides of the windshield. I think its called the A pillar piece.

I dunno what the kid's problem was, but apparently the first time he gouged it up, he was too stupid to try another approach. Looks like he took a screw driver or something to it. :redbrick: They said they would "make it right" and use their senior installer today, but we will see if they actually make an effort to find new trim pieces.

So, anyone got any tan colored A pillar trim for a 2nd gen they would sell? Mine is a 94. Looked online and all I saw on Ebay was blue and grey pieces. Scrapyard I called here in town did not currently have any tan interior 2nd gens, sigh.

Great, so now I get the guilt trip phone call from the shop saying that they can't get ahold of the chrome molding for the outside of the windshield. They ordered it from the dealership for 250 freaking dollars. Are you kidding me? Safelite did a windshield on my 94 truck in May and they replaced the molding. The statement for the whole job was less than 250. Oh and I don't get this fixed until next Monday. Last time I'm supporting this locally owned business I guess, Safelite it is!

I call BS if they are making you pay for the trim. Its their screw up, they should eat the cost.

And if they are... I would tell em to Eff off and go to safelite for the rubber trim...
