I would LOVE to make a trip like that, as that area is right alongside Moab on my list of places to explore like no others; BUT, unless I win the lottery or some big inheritance, it will have to wait. Moab is up for this October, so that's all I'll be able to make this year (it takes an entire day of driving for me just to get in the area). Hope you find someone to go!

I went a few weeks ago, but I heard scary things about how narrow Black Bear is (the switchbacks), so I took my Rubicon. I'd like to go again. Will try Sep, and check back here as well. Place is fantastic...
