Anyone with a Thule Slipstream?

I want to get into some serious kayak fishing and need a better way to get my kayak up on my 5th Gen. With my old OK Scambler and my '98 GC, I could just press it up on the roof. With the heavier and much more expensive Hobie Outback I hope to get and the higher 4Runner, that's not a great option.

Looking at what's out there, the best thing seems to be the Slipstream. I am just wondering if it extends far enough past the rear spoiler?

Anyone have some insight on this?

Not yet. I haven't bought the Hobie yet, so didn't need to get the slip stream. If you get one, please post some pictures. If I get one ill post pictures, but I can't imagine ill pull the trigger until spring or summer.

Did you ever find out if slipstream works with spoiler? About to pull trigger on a used beast of a kayak (14 ft tandem) and he also has the slipstream for sale. Wondering if I should hold out for side assist Thule instead. Thanks!

I too have a 5th gen T4R and was also wondering about the slipstream and hobie outback. I have the outback and wondered if this set-up works for roof-top carrying.
