Anyone's keyless entry just stop working randomly?

well i just tried reprogramming. . . no luck. going to replace the ECU in back hatch with my original and see if it works after that. . .

Maybe someone can chime in on how to verify that you have the factory keyless entry - if so, I got my remote from Keyless-Remotes | Keyless Entry Car Remotes and Key FOBs
... it was about $40 if i remember correctly ... the instructions for programming it are under a sticky:

Got a quote from toyota to replace my wife's scion tc's extra remote (Yes we are a toyota family for life) they want 265$ for it........ Holy crap!!

Keyless remote stopped working

Last week: My 2011 SR-5 keyless remote stopped working & was intermittent. I’ve replaced the battery, sprayed light oil in all the doors and back latches.
I’ve noticed that when it doesn’t work, my Alpine audio doesn’t turn off...
As of yesterday, I’ve sprayed light oil/ silicone in the ignition key hole... so far it’s working.
