At the last minute on Saturday I found out that I had to be in La Jolla at 6:30 PM on Sunday. What better way to get there than a "direct" route through Fish Creek Wash to Sandstone Canyon

Yeah, I had forgotten about that guy. He got what he deserved though: travelled alone (1 vehicle), no recovery gear, probably no research done on the trail, no maps, and didn't know when to call it quits and turn around
