I really really really tried to find a forum post that could help me with this, but...
I installed a couple of LED lights following this wiring diagram I found on this forum:
I'm using an AOB switch like this:
Following the diagram and post where I found it, I connected the green wire from the switch to the headlight high beam wire. The new LED lights come on when I turn on the high beams (from the stalk switch) and have the AOB button in the "on" position. That's great!
But... The AOB switch has 2 lights. The bottom one lights up the words when the dash lights are on (works perfectly). The top one lights up the image. The problem is every time I turn on the high beams, that top lights illuminates... even if the AOB switch is in the "off" position and the new LED lights don't come on. As a result, it's confusing to me when the new LED lights are actually on.
Does anyone have a recommendation for how I can wire the switch to illuminate the top light (the icon on the button) only when the AOB switch is in the "on" position and the high beams are on (i.e., when the LED spot lights actually turn on)?
Thanks!
