Apple Wireless CarPlay

New to forum, just picked it up this weekend. Really excited about the purchase and glad there is so much knowledge on this forum.

My car has the Nav unit, it already includes the bluetooth(calls only, no audio from iphone) and a back up camera. Do you know if installing these aftermarket units will allow me to keep the existing hardware/functions like back up camera, bluetooth mic, steering wheel controls, etc. I think I'm leaning towards the Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX or the newer version of it.

Subscribed. I need to come back to this thread. Some cool head units linked. Just not sure I want to dump so many $ on audio in my noisy ass truck.

Yeah, I always used Google maps instead of Apple maps. No issue there. As far as steering wheel controls, I don't have the phone control buttons, but the "next", "previous", and "mode" buttons all worked with the w4400-nex.
