That's what I asked the tech. According to the manager of the store that was appropriate jacking point. I informed him that if those bushings bite the dust prematurely it's on them.Why not jack it up from the axle?...not suspension components.
That point shown is not exactly the thickest metal and there is a rubber bushing in the end of that trailing arm.

That was my point really, why not just use the axle??Won't hurt a thing but I'd use the axle.
