Hey all, new to the t4r but this sounds cool. How technical would the trail day be? I'm trying to get into some more aggressive tires on 17s...but also not sure if a newby with the Ltd would fair. Let me know what you think!

You should definitely come out and check it out. I have personally never been there but maybe [MENTION=47554]t4r4life[/MENTION] or [MENTION=53337]SCRunner12[/MENTION] can chime in. Do you guys know if Frank Raines has trails that stock 4runners can enjoy too?

Here's a review of Frank Raines I found from someone online:

"Great run today! I am glad I am back up and healthy. I have to say I was impressed with this OHV park. It's very big, and has a lot of trails. I kept it pretty mild today, but can see where I could get into some nasty stuff if I wanted to."

We didn't run everything and this was 4 years ago, but it has a lot of trails to run. Some steep climbs and technical parts, but nothing too crazy from what I saw. I'd say a stock 4runner could do most of it, but it's been 4 years so I don't know how it changed.

6.5 hours from my place in Humboldt....About 1.5 hours from the Bay Area....If I can get a day off work and be in the Bay that weekend, I'm there!!!

I've been to that park once and it just isn't that big, although hollister hill would be a better choice, but it does get boring at HH... I'm down to give it another try at Frank Raines.

So, as much as I thought I wanted to check out Frank Raines for the first time, I have prety much been talked out of it by members on other forums. I heard recently it's nothing more than very steep hill climbs, pinstripe central, and some other factors that made me want to do another Hollister trip instead.

Since we have not got together for a Holister trip this year, and other forums have expressed interest in that date as well, what do you guys think about Hollister Hills on April 2nd instead of Frank Raines??

Currently in my garage doing the electrical and suspension upgrades.
I am also waiting on my bumpers, sliders & skids from schrockworks, i want to get them on before i do any wheeling.
