ARB Bumper question

Need a little help from anyone that has experience with ARB front replacement bumpers. I have a 2006 T4R and I found an ARB bumper from an 2003-2005. My question is will an 03-05 fit on an 06. I think it should but I'm not a 100% sure. I called ARB and they said it mounts different but to my knowledge i thought the frames and mounts from 03-09 are all the same. If you know anything about this i would appreciate the info.

They probably mount to the same points but there may be slight differences in the design/fit that apply to the 06+ front headlights/grille. I wouldn't chance it. Just get the one designed for yours.

I don't know the specifics of any chassis/bumper mount differences between 05 and 06, but I did work for ARB for several years and saw many, many minor changes in vehicles that required new bumper mounting systems. Not just Toyota either.
If ARB told you they are different, then take their word for it. They wouldn't list two different bumper part numbers for no good reason.

The grille extends lower on the 06+. On the 06+ the front bumper to fender flare shape/interface is different. To make your life easy and to insure it looks proper get the correct model.

Thank you all very much for the info. It was a used bumper on a friend of a friends vehicle that was wanting to sell that's why I was curious.

I'm using 06+ ARB on my 2004. It bolted on without problems. A little more clearance on the grill area but not noticeable. Mine didn't come with the reinforcement support but the 06+ arb manual seems like its different for mine. I ran without it for a while without issues. Easy enough to fabricate an angle support bar.

**I should note though, I have 1.5" body lift, so I re-drilled the bumper mount on the bumper to eliminate the gap.
