ARB Bumper Winch Install

Hey Dudes,

If you own an ARB bumper and were thinking about installing a winch on it, this video will help you with the install. This video also includes showing you how to create longer electrical lines so you can relocate the control box in the engine compartment.

Just for reference, for anyone planning this install: the winch I have in my ARB bumper (Smittybilt X2O 10K) is slightly shorter and did not require the center radiator core support bracket to be removed.

Since the winch drum was still very close to the radiator core support, I did fab up a little aluminum shield to go between the winch and the core support. Just to ensure the winch rope didn't rub on any sharp edges when it was spooled all the way in.

While I was at it, I also made a fancy little hinged cover for top access hole in the ARB bumper to prevent water or debris from pouring right down on top of the winch drum.
