ARB bumper

I found someone selling an ARB Bumper that I want for a decent price. It's for an 06 v8 4runner, I have an 04 v8. Will it fit? I just noticed it looks like 2 different part numbers for the different years.

I'm fine with a little modifying or trimming if I need to.

It should fit just fine. I think the only difference is that the newer one has some extra skids that the earlier trucks don't need.

I recall there being a difference on the area where the grill comes close to the bumper when the hood is shut since the 03-05 & 06-09 have different grills. Also there might be a variance on the wheel well side as the 03-05 are straight where the fender and bumper meet and the 06-09 has a cutout of some sort. I am going off memory so I could be off slightly.

Ok if it's just something minor I'm fine. I just wanted to make sure the whole mounting system wasn't going to be different or something.

On my ARB there is room for the 06 grill. You can actually call ARB and talk to the tech dept and they are extremely helpful.

I think I'm going to be fine with the bumper. I'll call ARB tomorrow just to make sure. Either way I'm going to make it work. I'm getting the bumper for 650 so that's a pretty good price, cheap enough that I'll make it work if I need to.

Reviving an old thread...

Could you tell what the differences were between your vehicle and the bumper? I have a bumper I can buy, but I am in the opposite dilemma. It is for an 03-05, but I have an 08.
