ARB bumper

Well guys, I just ordered my ARB bumper. Didn't want it, but there just isn't much for our 'Runners out there. I drive to Dallas Monday to pick it up. $747 out the door.
That leaves me about $200 to play with from the insurance check. Now I need to decide if I want to spend that on a winch, or a Cornfed/ Daystar lift.
If you run the front and rear spacers, do you need to change shocks? Are you guys satisfied with these kits versus coil packages? :infidel:

well $200 isn't even close to what you need for a winch.

As far as a lift, i would probably do an actual coil lift since you are going to be adding some weight to the front w/ the new bumper. Probably time to look into a coil designed for the extra weight.

I found a 10000 lb winch with excellent reviews for $399.

ARB

Which ARB bumper did you purchase? I have looked at their catalog and they do not advertise a front bumper for 3rd gen Runners. However, some places do sell an ARB bumper for the truck, and 4WheelParts told me that they simply take the Tac bumper, and with cutting 2" off the frame...make it fit. Is this accurate?

I really couldn't tell you. The dealer told me it would fit as long as I didn't have the Limited wheel flares on it. Mine is an SR5, so we'll see. I will let you know when I get it put on there.
