ARB compressor mount on fender?

Thinking of using this spot as a mounting point for my ARB. Anybody else use this spot?

Did you mount in the position I photographed it in or did you move the ABS solenoid box to mount it on the flatter spot?

Mine is located in that same spot as well, but I have the smaller compressor.

I think I had to drill a hole or two and used the reinforcement plate on the bottom to prevent the hardware from pulling through. I only have one picture...

Another option:

My twin would have been tight up front, so I opted for a rear cargo mount solution. You do have to extend the loom wiring if you go this route though.

That's exactly where I put my ARB dual as well, in the rear cubby. Only I'm lazy (so far) and just put a quick release poking out through a hole in the cover.

My wife's '96 has the compressor tucked inside the driver's side rear quarter panel (behind the plastic) and a tank underneath where the spare used to be.
